GED Certificate

A GED is NOT a diploma, however it is a legal equivalent of a high school diploma for employment purposes. A GED Certificate is accepted by most employers, the military (Army and Navy) and many colleges. A GED may also be acceptable for various legal qualifications. Hemet Adult School is a certified GED Testing Center. GED testing occurs at least twice a month. Students may sign up to take the GED test at any time. There is a $145.00 testing fee that must be paid with cash, Credit Card or money order. No checks are accepted. If students need to retake certain sections of the GED examination, there is a fee of $30.00 per section that needs to be retaken (good from April to June 2010). Retakes paid for online are $30.00. Students are allowed one chance to reschedule, and may only retake sections twice per calendar year.
