👏👏Congratulations to our Division B Middle School Science Olympiad Teams for their success at the Inland Empire Regional Event earlier this month. 🏆

The two teams took home 12 medals 🏅 with teams placing 5th and 12th at Regionals earning them a spot at the State Event on April 11th at Cal Tech.

🧪🔬Science Olympiad is a premier national K-12 STEM competition in the United States focused on academic and engineering challenges. Students take rigorous tests in specialized areas of Astronomy, Biology, Ecology, and Code Cracking. In Build Events, students construct devices ahead of time to meet specific parameters in competition.

Each team consists of 15 6th - 9th graders. Western Center had two teams enter the competition, one with 14 members on the team and the other with only 10 in a field of 27 schools. Once again, Congratulations and Good Luck at State! 🦣

🦣Western Center Academy encourages parents to attend an informational meeting prior to enrollment. We want you to be able to make an informed decision about enrolling your child at WCA. While there are many programs out there for you to choose from, the decision to enroll with WCA should be considered carefully. Please attend a meeting day that is convenient for you.

There are 2 meetings scheduled this year, Monday, February 9, and Thursday, February 12, both begin at 6:00 pm in the WCA MPR.

Applications will be available at the conclusion of the meeting.

Completed applications will be accepted at the WCA office from February 23rd - April 24th, 2026, during normal operating hours.
